Abstract
Novel azo disperse dyestuffs of the formula (I) < IMAGE > in which one of R1 and R2 denotes a group of the formula R-SO2- and the other denotes halogen or alkylsulphonyl, R denotes a radical of the formula -CH2CH2OH, -CH2-CHOH-CH2OH, -CH2-CO-CH3, < IMAGE >, < IMAGE > or < IMAGE >, one of R3 and R4 denotes hydrogen and the other denotes hydrogen or halogen, R5 denotes hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methyl, methoxy or ethoxy, R6 denotes alkyl or alkenyl, R7 denotes alkyl, alkenyl or phenylalkyl, R8 denotes hydrogen, methyl, methoxy, ethoxy, chlorine, bromine, cyano or acylamino, R9 denotes hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or cyanoalkyl, R10 denotes hydroxyalkyl and R12 and R13 independently of one another denote hydrogen or alkyl the phenyl ring A can carry one or two substituents, namely up to two chlorine or bromine and/or one of the group consisting of nitro, cyano, methyl, methoxy and alkoxycarbonyl and all the alkyl and alkoxy radicals on the molecule contain 1, 2, 3 or 4 and the alkenyl groups 2, 3 or 4 carbon atoms, are obtained by diazotising and coupling the corresponding starting substances. The novel dyestuffs are suitable for dyeing and printing textiles, in particular of linear, aromatic polyesters.
