Abstract

With only two indicators, the handlebars enable the indicators to be seen extremely clearly from both the front and the rear without getting in the way of the rider. For this purpose the handlebars have a special feature which comprises two indicator devices (1) which are located on the ends of orientatable arms (2) connected to the handlebars (3) in such a way that they can be moved from one to the other of two positions. In a first position (A), the two indicators (1) project laterally beyond the ends of the handlebars (3), whereas in the second position (B) they are moved inwards so as to reduce the overall lateral space requirements of the motor vehicle.
