Abstract

Reactor nuclear que incluye una vasija de reactor, un núcleo de reactor nuclear dispuesto en dicho vasija y que incluye una multiplicidad de conjuntos de combustible de forma alargada que tiene cada uno una multiplicidad de barras de combustible y unas rejas dispuestas en emplazamientos axiales predeterminados para soportar dichas barras de combustible en dichos conjuntos, un cilindro de núcleo dispuesto alrededor y a una cierta distancia de la periferia radial de dicho núcleo, y una pluralidad de placas combinadas de desvío-guiado sujetas por una extremidad en dicho cilindro y que se extienden a partir de dicho cilindro hacia dicho núcleo, caracterizado porque una de dichas placas de guiado (36, 48, 49, 52, 58,70,74) está dispuesta en cada uno de dichos emplazamientos predeterminados y está situada y dimensionada de modo que asegure en el espacio periférico entre el núcleo (14) y el cilindro de núcleo (28) una circulación de refrigerante solamente suficiente para efectuar la refrigeraciónnecesario del cilindro de núcleo (28) y de las placas de guiado y para crear una pérdida de carga de refrigerante en sentido axial en dicho espacio periférico, igual a la pérdida de carga de refrigerante en el interior del núcleo (14).
