Abstract
Un método de preparar un catalizador extruído, que comprende (a) mezclar un óxido inorgánico refractario finamente dividido, un agente peptizante, y agua suficiente, para producir una mezcla caracterizada por una pérdida de peso, por ignición a 900ºC, de desde 50 a 70%, (b) mantener dicha mezcla en condiciones de mezcla con cizalladura, caracterizándose la intensidad de dicha mezcla con cizalladura por una absorción de energía equivalente a 33 a 264 vatios-hora por kilogramo de óxido inorgánico refractario seco contenido en dicha mezcla, durante un período de desde 0,5 a 5 minutos, (c) extruir la masa resultante y secar y calcinar el material extruído.
