Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en prolongadores de alcance de intensificación de baterias, del tipo que comprenden sensores de corriente para detectar la dirección del flujo de corriente en una línea de transmisión, y elementos de conmutación para introducir de una forma controlada potencial de intensificación en la línea con el fin de ayudar en serie a un potencial alimentado a la línea, caracterizados porque dichos prolongadores comprenden medios para almacenar una representación de la dirección última detectada del flujo de corriente, y medios que responden a dicha representación almacenada de dicha última dirección detectada de flujo de corriente procedente de dichos medios de almacenamiento y la dirección actualmente detectada del flujo de corriente procedente de los sensores de corriente, para retardar de una forma controlable la introducción de potencial de intensificación en la línea solamente cuando se produce una inversión en la dirección del flujo de corriente.
