Abstract

Un método perfeccionado de fabricar un conectador eléctrico, caracterizado por las operaciones de eliminar partes de una chapa metálica plana para proporcionar una pluralidad de partes de contacto interconectadas por partes fácilmente frangibles, estando formada cada parte de contacto con una abertura o aberturas, cada una de ellas para recibir y conectar eléctricamente la parte de contacto a un miembro de contacto macho; emparedar la chapa metálica entre dos hojas de material eléctricamente aislante, cada una de ellas formada con recortes que se alinean con las partes frangibles y con las aberturas de la chapa metálica; y romper las partes frangibles de la chapa metálica a través de los recortes alineados de las chapas de material eléctricamente aislante, para aislar así eléctricamente las partes de contacto de la chapa metálica.
