Abstract

Procedimiento de fabricación de soportes para filtros biológicos, del tipo que contienen un material que realiza una importante retención de las diversas especies de micro-organismos alimentadas por el medio a tratar, estando constituidos los soportes por composiciones homogéneas, en forma de granulados de dimensiones medias de 2 a 25 mm, a base de arcillas cocidas, o tierras refractarias, y de pequeñas cantidades de oligoelementos, caracterizado porque primeramente se añaden a las arcillas crudas dichos oligoelementos en forma de minerales o compuestos correspondientes, y a continuación se someten a cocción a temperatura superior a 1000ºC, siendo triturada a continuación la tierra refractaria obtenida y tamizada a la granulometría deseada.
