Abstract

Un cabezal porta-fresas de disco y un procedimiento para mecanizar los lados frontales de placas provistas de al menos una capa superficial relativamente dura, cabezal que está provisto de al menos un filo y que se ajusta de modo que está provisto de al menos un filo y que se ajusta de modo que con su eje de giro forma ángulo con respecto a la dirección de avance de la placa, caracterizado el cabezal porta-fresas por existir al menos un segundo filo, cuyo borde de corte está dispuesto formando un ángulo tal como el eje de giro, que al girar el cabezal porta-fresas de disco, genera una superficie envolvente situada en sustancia radialmente fuera de un cilindro recto circular que pasa por el primer filo, con el eje de giro como eje central, y que discurre dentro o sobre una superficie envolvente de cono límite, cuyo eje central es asimismo el eje de giro, encontrándose al menos un punto de corte del primer filo fuera o sobre la superficie envolvente de cono límite.
