Abstract
Nueva serie de imidas de ácido 5-endo-(3-indolcarboniloxi)-N-[aminoalquil (inferior)] biciclo [2.2.1] heptano-2, 3-di-endo carboxílico que poseen actividad anti-arrítmica y/o anti-fibrilatoria. La arritmia cardiaca, un fenómeno comúnmente asociado con las enfermedades cardiacas coronarias o con el infarto de miocardio. Se sospecha que el mecanismo de la arritmia cardiaca es causado por un "foco" anormal en el ventrículo del corazón que envía (enciende) señales nerviosas con mayor rapidez que la requerida para el latido normal del corazón. Se ha descubierto que la serie de compuestos aquí denominados imidas de ácido 5-endo (3-indolcarboniloxi)-N-[aminoalquil (inferior)]biciclo[2.2.1] heptano-2,3-di-endo-carboxílico son agentes terapéuticos o profilácticos útiles para suprimir el latido ectópico anormal.
