Abstract

Un método para obtener productos planos de acero de bajo contenido de carbono, con aptitud para la conformación mejorada, que incluyen la producción de un acero fundido precursor de aquellos, por un método "abierto " o de desoxidación incompleta y controlar el grado deseado de acción de efervescencia en el molde, mediante la adición de desoxidante al acero fundido, tanto en la cuchara como en el molde, caracterizado porque la desoxidación en la cuchara se efectúa mediante la adición de desoxidantes sustancialmente desprovistos de aluminio, por ejemplo menos del 10% , y porque el desoxidante añadido al molde consiste esencialmente en magnesio, en una cantidad de 15 a 300 g/tonelada de acero.
