Abstract

Sensor señalizador de un bajo nivel del líquido de frenos, integrado en un sistema hidráulico de frenos que incluye un cuerpo en cuyo interior están formados un cilindro maestro de freno y un depósito alimentador del líquido de frenos, caracterizado porque el citado sensor comporta: a) un primer órgano a pistón, susceptible de desplazarse por la aplicación a él de la presión hidráulica del líquido de frenos, cada una de las veces en que el pedal de freno provoca la aparición de la presión hidráulica en el interior del citado cilindro maestro; b) un segundo órgano a pistón, dispuesto de forma que se traslada solidariamente con el primer órgano a pistón, estando el citado segundo órgano a pistón situado a un nivel predeterminado por encima del fondo de un depósito de líquido de frenos; c) comportando el citado cuerpo un agujero ciego, formado en el interior del pistón, siendo el citado agujero ciego susceptible de rellenarse con el líquido de frenos procedente del citado depósito cuando el nivel del citado líquido de frenos se encuentra por encima del nivel del citado cilindro; de suerte que este agujero ciego, relleno de líquido, obtura casi inmediatamente la entrada del citado segundo órgano a pistón y, en consecuencia, cesa el desplazamiento ulterior de los citados primero y segundo órganos a pistón; mientras que en el caso de que el citado nivel del líquido de frenos descienda por debajo del citado segundo órgano a pistón este segundo órgano a pistón es susceptible de introducirse entonces en el citado agujero ciego y comprimir el aire situado en el interior de este último; y d) órganos destinados a generar una señal eléctrica cuando el citado segundo órgano a pistón queda capacitado de introducirse en el citado agujero ciego.
