Abstract
Un método perfeccionado de fabricar una varilla para subsiguiente división de la misma en tramos de longitud previamente determinada, para ser utilizados como filtros de cigarrillo, que comprende las operaciones de a) disponer una primera corriente continua de tubería hueca desde un manantial; b) disponer una segunda corriente continua de material de filtro fibroso desde un manantial; c) cortar dicha primera corriente continua de tubería hueca en tramos de longitud previamente determinados al mismo tiempo que se mantiene a dichos tramos en alineación axial; d) colocar dichas corrientes en yuxtaposición durante el desplazamiento al mismo tiempo que se envuelve simultáneamente dicha segunda corriente de material fibroso circunferencialmente alrededor de dicha primera corriente de tubería; e) alimentar dichos tramos de tubería hueca dentro de dicha segunda corriente de material fibroso en alineación axial con ella a intervalos distanciados entre sí; f) generar una tercera corriente de papel; g) apretar dicha segunda corriente alrededor de dichos tramos de tubería hueca para aplicarse por fricción a dichos tramos de tubería hueca para continuar el desplazamiento junto con ellos; y h) envolver circunferencialmente dicha tercera corriente alrededor de dichas primeras y segundas corrientes yuxtapuestas y constreñidas durante la continuación del desplazamiento de dichas primera, segunda y tercera corrientes para formar dicha varilla de filtro.
