Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en dispositivos para inyectar aire en hornos quemadores de petróleo, cuyo aire se ha tratado para aumentar su humedad, caracterizadas por comprender: (a) un recipiente de agua proporcionado para recibir y contener agua obtenida de una línea de agua; (b) una línea atmosférica que procede de la atmósfera de dicho recipiente de agua, en una posición abajo del nivel del agua en dicho recipiente; y (c) una línea de combustión que procede de la parte superior del recipiente de agua y continúa hacia dentro de una zona de combustión del horno, de tal manera que en funcionamiento el tiro natural de la zona de combustión extrae aire a través de la línea atmosférica, lo conduce al recipiente de agua produciendo burbujas en dicho aire, de manera que es preparado aumentando su humedad antes de pasar por dicha línea de combustión y ser inyectado a la base de la llama en la zona de combustión.
