Abstract

Método para obtener pigmento de silicato compuesto, concretamente para preparar un pigmento blanco compuesto de eficiencia óptica mejorada que se caracteriza porque consiste esencialmente, en un componente de arcilla y un componente de silicato metálico, comprendiendo las etapas siguientes de: a) formar una suspensión acuosa de un pigmento de arcilla que tiene una estructura del tipo de laminilla. b) mezclar en el barro de arcilla una sal hidrosoluble de un metal polivalente. C) dosificar en el barro de arcilla/sal, de alto esfuerzo cortante, un silicato metálico alcalino hidrosoluble, precipitando, con ello, la sílice en forma de partículas esféricas sobre las superficies planares de las laminillas de arcilla para formar un pigmento compuesto. d) filtrar el pigmento compuesto del barro; y e) lavar el producto de pigmento compuesto.
