Abstract

While evaporation continues unhindered on the masonry work surfaces, the vertical stream of water slows down considerably. The masonry wall thus gives off, in the conducting unit, more water to the atmosphere than can be passed on from beneath. The entire masonry structure located above the fitted installation can dry out naturally. The fitted electric conductors all consist of the same metal. They are arranged one above the other in horizontal planes and are connected in a mutually electrically conducting manner. Their number, length and spatial distribution has to be gauged accurately. As a result of the invention, moisture can be removed from structures and the latter can be kept dry permanently.
