Abstract

Un método de purificación por vía húmeda de gases que contienen dióxido de azufre, halógenos y por lo menos una substancia volatilizada seleccionada del grupo de arsénico y compuestos arsenicales, procedentes de tratamiento pirometalúrgico de materiales sulfurados, en cuyo método los gases son lavados con ácido sulfúrico diluido que circula en un circuito cerrado y seguidamente se enfrían.
