Abstract

Procedimiento y dispositivo para la descomposición de los vapores de amoniaco con elevado contenido de sulfuro de hidrógeno; en particular de vapores de los desacidificadotes del lavado cíclico del NH3 y del H2S de los gases en bruto de las coquerias, en los que está enriquecido el NH3 lavado, siendo calentados, los vapores de los desacidificadotes por la combustión de un medio de calefacción, sobre todo en un gas de combustión en su contacto directo con los productos gaseiformes de la combustión, mientras que la mezcla caliente pasada por una zona libre de descomposición ó por una zona de descomposición llena de cuerpos de relleno resistentes al calor o de un catalizador de cualquier forma requerida para la descomposición del NH3.
