Un proceso para la producción de glicerol y sustancias proteínicas de valor nutritivo, que comprende el cultivo de algas de la especie Dunaliallo en un medio nutriente que contiene los requisitos minerales para el desarrollo de las algas, teniendo dicho nutriente un contenido en cloruro de sodio de por lo menos 1,5 M, efectuándose el cultivo mientras se proporciona un adecuado suministro de bióxido de carbono y se continua hasta que se obtiene una máxima concentración de algas, *** Ver imagen
