Abstract
Procedimiento para aumentar la resistencia térmica de superficie de émbolos de metal ligero, para motores de combustión del tipo que presentan lugares superficiales localmente altamente solicitados por la temperatura, especialmente en el fondo del émbolo, caracterizado porque comprende combinar, en cualquier secuencia, una operación de oxidación electrolítica de dichas superficies con una operación de consolidación mecánica de las mismas de modo que las capas superficiales de eloxalizado y de compresión mecánica sean sensiblemente coincidentes en profundidad.
