Abstract

Un método de formación de un producto fibroso que tiene un índice reducido de propagación de la llama, consistente en: mezclar entre si fibras celulósicas, trihidrato de alúmina y un aglomerante, añadir una fuente de B2O3 eficaz para reducir la propagación de la llama del producto fibroso, aplicar reumáticamente la mezcla sobre un miembro de soporte y consolidar la mezcla mediante calor y presión para formar un producto fibroso que tiene un índice reducido de propagación de la llama.
