Abstract
Es un objeto de la presente invención proveer un aparato para intercambio de calor que se enfría por aire y que se puede fabricar a un costo relativamente bajo. Un objeto adicional de la invención, es el de proveer un aparato para intercambio de calor del tipo mencionado, que minimiza la necesidad de energía excesiva para ventiladores, y el uso de tubos de calor que requieran material absorbente interior. Otro objeto de la presente invención, es el de proveer un aparato para intercambio de calor, del tipo mencionado, que emplea una pluralidad de tubos de sifón térmico, controlados por gravedad y dispuestos de una manera singular. Para el cumplimiento de estos y otros objetos, el aparato de intercambio de calor de la presente invención, comprende una sección superior de intercambio de calor, una sección inferior de intercambio de calor, una pluralidad de tubos de sifón térmico cada uno de los cuales tiene una porción superior que se extiende en la sección superior de intercambio térmico y una porción inferior que se extiende en la sección inferior de intercambio térmico, estando cada uno de los tubos cerrado a cada extremo y conteniendo un fluido para intercambio de calor, dispositivos para pasar un fluido caliente a través de las porciones inferiores de los tubos para transferir el calor desde el fluido caliente hacia el fluido de intercambio de calor, y dispositivos para pasar un fluido frío a través de las porciones superiores de los tubos, para remover el calor desde el fluido de intercambio de calor.
