Abstract
Procedimiento para preparar zeolita Y, que comprende preparar una mezcla de aluminosilicato sódico acuoso que tiene una composición, expresada en términos de proporciones molares de óxido, que cae dentro del siguiente intervalo: Na2O/SiO2 0,41 a 0,60 SiO2/Al2O3 10 a 30 H2O/Na2O 20 a 60 donde la fuente principal de sílice en dicha mezcla se elige del grupo que consta de un sol de sílice coloidal acuosa y un sílice sólida amorga reactiva; mantener dicha mezcla a una temperatura comprendida entre aproximadamente 20ºC y aproximadamente 125ºC, hasta que se formen cristales; y separar los cristales de las aguas madres.
