Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a la preparación y uso de nuevos pentapéptidos y, más específicamente, se refiere a la preparación y uso de nuevos derivados de metioninencefalina que son útiles como agentes analgésicos y antidepresivos, a la preparación y uso de intermedios útiles en la preparación de los nuevos pentapéptidos y a la preparación y uso de composiciones farmacéuticas así como a métodos que emplean tales nuevos pentapéptidos. Específicamente, los nuevos pentapéptidos son metioninencefalina substituida en la posición 2 con un D-aminoácido y las amidas correspondientes.
