Abstract
Un método para recuperar uranio a partir de una solución acuosa del ácido fosfórico de alimentación del procedimiento en húmedo que contiene contaminantes formadores de lodo que consiste en las etapas de: (1) purificar el ácido fosfórico (2) extraer el uranio del ácido fosfórico purificado, caracterizado porque la etapa (1) se lleva a cabo poniendo en contacto la solución acuosa del ácido fosfórico de alimentación del procedimiento en húmedo con un agente depurador que consiste esencialmente en un hidrocarburo que tiene una temperatura de ebullición entre aproximadamente 150ºC. y 300ºC., que interacciona con los contaminantes formadores de lodo en el ácido fosfórico, en una cantidad efectiva para limpiar o depurar los contaminantes formadores de lodo a partir del ácido fosfórico, formar una fase de lodo y una fase de ácido fosfórico purificado y eliminar la fase de lodo.
