Abstract

Un procedimiento para obtener una composición polimérica que contiene (A) un interpolímero de monómeros que comprenden alrededor de 40 a 87% en peso de un ácido carboxílico o su anhídrido, olefínicamente insaturado monomérico, 2 a 20% en peso de (1) un éster acrílico monomérico de fórmula **(Fórmula)** Donde R¿ es hidrógeno, metilo o etilo y R contiene 10 a 30 átomos de carbono y 5 a 30% en peso de (2) por lo menos otro nitrilo, amida o éster acrílico o metacrílico y (B) más de alrededor de 30 partes en peso de un glicol alifático por 100 partes en peso de interpolímero cuyo procedimiento se caracteriza porque comprende: a) someter a reacción de polimerización un ácido carboxílico, o su anhídrido, olefínicamente insaturado monomérico, con (1) y con (2) en presencia de un catalizador de radicales libre y, opcionalmente, con un agente reticulante monomérico; b) agregar más de 30 partes en peso de un glicol alifático por 100 partes en peso de monómeros de interpolímero. c) Neutralizar por lo menos 30% en peso de los grupos ácidos con un compuesto alcalino, hidróxido de amonio o una amina.
