Un procedimiento para la preparación de una nitrocumarina de fórmula (I): **(Fórmula)** Y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, donde R1 y R2 representan cada uno de ellos hidrógeno o alquilo inferior, alcoxi inferior, alquenilo inferior o alquinilo inferior o bien R1 y R2, cuando están en átomos de carbono adyacente, representan unidos un grupo 1,4-buta-1,3-dienileno o un grupo alquileno de 3 a 5 átomos de carbono inclusive.
