Abstract
Un cuerpo refractario permeable, caracterizado porque consiste en un grano refractario que tiene un tamaño de malla 4 a 90, y un aglomerante de oxinitruro de silicio para éste, teniendo dicho cuerpo una porosidad, representada por la relación de caudal "F" a caída de presión "P", de F/P de por lo menos aproximadamente 0,3, en la que F se mide en litros por hora por cm2, y P se mide en mm de agua por mm de espesor de dicho cuerpo, estando los poros de dicho cuerpo esencialmente libres de monocristales filamentosos de nitruro de silicio.
