Abstract
Un método para almacenar y subsiguientemente liberar hidrógeno gaseoso, que comprende cargar un compuesto granulado de fórmula CaNi5 o CaNi4Cu con hidrógeno, de modo que la relación atómica del número de átomos de hidrógeno respecto al número de átomos de metal, es por lo menos de 0,3, almacenar el compuesto transformado en hidruro así obtenido a una presión inferior a 1 atmósfera, a temperatura ambiente, y seguidamente tratar el hidruro para liberar el hidrógeno.
