Abstract

Procedimiento para la polimerización de pirrolidina, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de polimerizar una mezcla que contiene catalizador alcalino, pirrolidona y disolvente, para formar una mezcla de producto de reacción que comprende poli-2-pirrolidona en forma particulada, catalizador alcalino y disolvente; y antes de que la poli-2-pirrolidona se aglomere en forma apreciable, tratar dicha mezcla de producto de reacción con un ácido para reducir el pH de la mezcla resultante a un valor de 5 a 8 aproximadamente.
