Abstract
Proceso para la preparación de p.isobutil-hidratropato de guayacol, caracterizado por agitar durante 24 horas a temperatura ambiente y sucesivamente 30 minutos a baño maría hirviente una mezcla de 1,2 moles de cloruro de p.isobutil-hidratropoilo y de 1 mol de guayacol en presencia de una cantidad catalítica de ácido sulfúrico concentrado, enfriando la mezcla y extrayéndola con disolvente adecuado, lavando la solución con álcali acuoso diluido y después con agua, concentrándola hasta su secamiento y destilando el residuo en el vacío de la bomba de aceite.
