Abstract

Método y su correspondiente aparato para extraer pastillas de combustible de una vaina metálica de un elemento de combustible, caracterizado el método porque se forma un orificio (16) en una extremidad de dicho elemento de combustible (10), se introduce líquido a alta presión en dicha vaina (12) a través de dicho orificio (16), sometiendo así a una presión interna dicho elemento de combustible (10) y dilatando dicha vaina metálica (12) alejándola de dichas pastillas de combustible (14), y se corta la vaina (12) para permitir que dichas pastillas de combustible (14) se deslicen fuera de dicha vaina metálica (12)
