Un aparato de servicio para un horno eléctrico capaz de efectuar las operaciones de conexión de electrodos y de reparación de revestimientos refractarios independientemente entre síen que dos pistas paralelas están montadas sobre un miembro de soporte común independientemente una de otra; un dispositivo para reparación de revestimientos refractariosque tiene una boquilla susceptible de ser hecha girar para insuflar la mezcla de parcheado de revestimientos refractariosestá montado de modo movible sobre una de las pistas paralelas; y un dispositivo conectador de electrodosque tiene un mecanismo para sostener de manera movible sobre la otra de las pistas paralelasde manera tal que dicho dispositivo conectador de electrodos puede ser motivo sin interferencia con el movimiento de dicho dispositivo para reparación de revestimientos refractarios.
