Abstract
Un cárter para un motor de combustión interna de pistones, que consiste en: (a) un bloque de cilindros fundido integralmente en una sola pieza, que tiene unas primeras porciones de pared que definen, por lo menos, una serie de cuerpos de cilindro de espesor reducido uniforme, estando cada cuerpo de cilindro conectado tangencialmente en un orden consecutivo con el siguiente cuerpo de cilindro adyacente, presentando dichas porciones de pared una ondulación continua orientada hacia el exterior frente a la superficie lateral que no está conectada, salvo en dicha conexión tangencial, teniendo dicho bloque de cilindro unas porciones de pared que definen una serie de secciones de cuerpo de cilindro de pared de espesor reducido, que se superponen y que están interrumpidas en la zona de superposición, de tal manera que las superficies internas de dichas segundas porciones de pared formen una superficie opuesta complementaria de la superficie orientada hacia el exterior de dichas primeras porciones de pared, pero separada uniformemente de ellas, teniendo dicho bloque de cilindros unas terceras porciones de pared que unen conjuntamente dichas primeras y segundas porciones de pared para formar un cierre en la extremidad inferior de dicha separación, y (b) un dispositivo que sirve para aplicar una fuerza de compresión estática, por lo menos a dichas primeras paredes durante el funcionamiento normal del motor.
