Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de artículos de carbono que están destinados a funcionar a temperaturas elevadas en atmósferas oxidantes, caracterizados porque al aplicar una capa vítrea de anhídrido bórico a las mismas que inhibe el proceso de oxidación, incluyendo las siguientes etapas. Preparación de los artículos de carbono precocido; realización de una solución acuosa de un borato amónico; aplicación de dicha solución acuosa a las superficies de dichos artículos de carbono y finalmente el secado de la solución anteriormente mencionada.
