Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de composiciones derivadas de ciclopentenil-pentanil-2 de actividad mejorante del olor en perfumería, de la fórmula **(Fórmula-01)** en donde la línea de trazos indica un enlace opcional, que constituyen composiciones colorantes o mejorantes del olor en formulaciones de fragancia y perfumería, caracterizado porque comprende tratar en un medio disolvente inerte según Grignard, de preferencia bajo reflujo, un compuesto de la fórmula **(Fórmula-02)** con un compuesto organometálico de la fórmula CH3M en donde M es Li o un haluro de magnesio, destruir a continuación, si se desea, el compuesto organometálico en exceso y separar el producto directamente, de preferencia por destilación o extraer el producto resultante con un disolvente orgánico del que se separa por destilación posterior y, si se desea, hidrogenar el doble enlace que puede estar presente en la cadena lateral del producto de reacción primario, preferentemente en presencia de catalizador carbón-paladiado.
