Abstract

Estación destiladora de plantas aromáticas; esencialmente caracterizada porque se constituye mediante un horno de combustión, que a través de un tubo de conexión transmite el calor a generador de vapor, estando este generador de vapor constituido por un vaso destilador que se aloja en el interior de un cilindro lleno de agua y rodeado por una carcasa exterior de material refractario, de manera que la conducción de calor proviniente del horno desemboca en la cámara establecida entre el cilindro portador del agua y la carcasa refractaria exterior, habiendose previsto que los aceites aromáticos desprendidos de las plantas por efecto del vapor, sean conducidos a una torre de condensación formada por tres serpientes concéntricos, pasando la mezcla, una vez condensada a un vaso florentino o recipiente de decantación donde se produce la separación de los aceites aromáticos y el agua, por diferencia de densidades.
