Abstract
Un método de inactivación del sulfuro ionizable en un fluido para la perforación de pozos que tiene un pH de 5 a 12 aproximadamente, sin afectar adversamente a la reología de dicho fluido, cuyo método comprende: a) hacer reaccionar, dentro o fuera del seno del fluido, por lo menos un componente destinado a suministrar ión zinc con un agente quelatante orgánico en cantidad suficiente para quelatar a dicho ión zinc hasta que el ión zinc reacciona con ión sulfuro, obteniéndose un compuesto de agente quelatante y cinc con una constante de estabilidad comprendida entre aproximadamente 10 y 16 que impide la formación de un hidróxido de zinc insoluble, manteniéndose la concentración de dicho componente a nivel suficiente para inactivar el sulfuro ionizable en dicho fluido del pozo; b) hacer reaccionar en el seno del fluido, el complejo de agente quelante y zinc, procedente de la etapa anterior, con el ión sulfuro presente en dicho fluido, para formar sulfuro de cinc que precipita, evitándose así los inconvenientes que la presencia del sulfuro ionizable puede ocasionar.
