Abstract

Un método, con su aparato correspondiente, para la obtención termo- mecánica de pulpa, caracterizado porque comprende: poner en contacto doladuras de madera con vapor gaseoso a la presión ambiente, con lo que se eleva la temperatura hasta la proximidad de 100ºC; compactar las doladuras tratadas con vapor con una relación de compactación de por lo menos 2,5 a 1; poner en contacto las doladuras compactadas con vapor a presión durante un tiempo suficiente para elevar la temperatura hasta, por lo menos, el punto de ablandamiento de la lignina y, a continuación refinar las doladuras resultantes.
