Abstract
Un método de preparar un nuevo material de almacenamiento de energía térmica, que comprende al menos una sal inorgánica hidratada que tiene una temperatura de transición a la forma anhidra o a una menos hidratada en el intervalo de 10º a 100ºC, caracterizado por hacer reaccionar una sal soluble en agua de un metal polivalente con un polímero sintético soluble en agua que tiene grupos colgantes (en ramificaciones) de ácido carboxílico o sulfónico, en presencia de la sal inorgánica hidratada, para formar un hidrogel insoluble en agua reticulado iónicamente que tiene la sal inorgánica hidratada dispersada y en suspensión en el mismo.
