Abstract

Un método de recuperación de metano de un terraplén sanitario que contiene metano y dióxido de carbono, que consiste en: a) perforar uno o más pozos desde la superficie del terreno en el interior del terraplén sanitario, con instalación de un conducto en dichos pozos y b) recuperar el metano poniendo en contacto con carbón activo la mezcla de metano y dióxido de carbono emitida por el terraplén sanitario, con lo que el dióxido de carbono es preferentemente adsorbido y el metano es recogido en un receptáculo.
