Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de suspensiones acuosas que contienen al menos 65% en peso de carbonato de calcio, según el cual se cristaliza carbonato de calcio en medio acuoso diluido, se separa, de la suspensión acuosa diluida de carbonato de calcio resultante, un concentrado húmedo de carbonato de calcio y se fluidifica y homogeneiza dicho concentrado de carbonato de calcio en presencia de un agente dispersante, caracterizado por el hecho de que se cristaliza el carbonato de calcio en presencia de un polielectrolito hidrosoluble y por el hecho de que se separa el concentrado de carbonato de calcio de la suspensión diluida de carbonato de calcio por un medio de separación mecánica.
