Abstract
Simplified switch, consisting essentially of a hollow base body of insulating material, whose inner wall has a circular recess in which four inclined planes of the same direction and regularly arranged are practiced, on two of which, diametrically opposed, the terminals are coupled of contact in which, through the base part, the terminals of the circuits whose current is to be interrupted or switched are connected, supporting a bridge like a bridge on said terminals and planes a small metallic cylinder, on which it sits perpendicularly, under the action of a suitable spring, a piece provided for the purpose at its end of a groove, in whose piece is conveniently coupled, coaxially with respect to it and the casting of the base part, another piece as a cylindrical button, which it constitutes the control of the switch, said button presenting a cavity for receiving the spring and introducing the seat on the bridge and a slot for retaining said bridge, the said button being retained on the base piece by means of a bushing, through which it protrudes and whose bushing is provided with appropriate means for its attachment to that and, possibly, others that allow the assembly to be attached to the apparatus in which the switch is mounted.
