Abstract
Procedimiento para eliminar óxidos de nitrógeno de una mezcla gaseosa que incluye dióxido de carbono y óxidos de nitrógeno, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) tratar dicha mezcla de gas en una zona con un medio acuoso y un oxidante, incluyendo el citado medio acuoso un carbonato-bicarbonato de un metal alcalino; (b) mantener dicho carbonato-bicarbonato de metal alcalino en exceso estequiométrico; y (c) formar un medio acuoso de producto que incluye al menos una sal de metal alcalino del grupo formado por nitrito del metal alcalino y nitrato del metal alcalino.
