Abstract

Un aparato purificador y purgador de gases de escape para un motor de combustión interna que comprende un cilindro limpiador conectado con un tubo de escape del motor para introducir un gas de escape dentro de dicho cilindro y al menos una placa de estrangulamiento que tiene un cierto número de agujeros de estrangulamiento de pequeño diámetro que penetran a su través, estando dispuesta dicha placa de estrangulamiento en dicho cilindro limpiador de manera tal que intersecta perpendicularmente a corrientes gaseosas en el cilindro limpiador, en donde es provocado un fenómeno de expansión descargando hacia atrás el gas de escape a través de dichos agujeros de estrangulamiento, en donde las áreas de dichos agujeros de estrangulamiento son ajustadas a 2,54 hasta 24 mm2, la relación del área de sección transversal total de los agujeros de estrangulamiento al área de sección del tubo de escape está en el margen de 0,8 a 5,5, y el espesor de la placa de estrangulamiento es de 0,8 a 6 mm.
