Abstract

Cortacésped impulsado por un motor de combustión interna de tipo blindado, provisto de refrigeración forzada de aire y que acciona un árbol de cuchillas rotatorio a eje vertical; con un capot que rodea o envuelve el motor de combustión interna y que está revestido de un material insonorizante, el cual capot presenta un orificio de entrada de aire por el que se introduce el aire comburente y el aire de refrigeración, presentando, asimismo, un silenciador de gases de escape, de forma anular y que envuelve o rodea al citado árbol de cuchillas, el cual silenciador es batido por el aire de refrigeración que sale del grupo motor, caracterizado porque el capot (20) comporta un canal curvo (30), revestido al menos parcialmente de un material insonorizante y que se extiende entre el orificio (32) de entrada del aire y el orificio (34) de aspiración del aire.
