Abstract

Un procedimiento para separar dióxido de azufre y óxidos de nitrógeno de gases, que comprende: a) depurar dichos gases en un depurador con sulfuro de hierro en presencia de H2O, a una temperatura de la ambiente a 100ºC y un pH de al menos 5,5, para producir FeS2 y FeSO4; b) eliminar dichos FeS2 y FeSO4 y calentar en una atmósfera reductora y a una temperatura de 650ºC a 900ºC para regenerar FeS y formar azufre; c) recircular dicho FeS regenerado a dicho depurador para depurar más gases que contienen SO2 Y NOx.
