Abstract

Procedimiento para recuperar 2-pirrolidona de una solución acuosa alcalina, que contiene pirrolidona, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de añadir un ácido a la solución en cantidad suficiente para proporcionar una solución neutralizada o acidificada que tiene un pH de 7 o inferior, separar, mediante una primera evaporación, una cantidad principal del agua de la solución neutralizada o acidificada, para proporcionar una mezcla que comprende la sal del ácido y 2-pirrolidona y recuperar 2-pirrolidona de dicha mezcla mediante una segunda evaporación bajo presión reducida.
