Abstract

Transmisión longitudinal mecánica o automática perfeccionada para vehículos automóviles, que comprende, en versión mecánica, un embrague y una caja de cambio mecánica y, en versión automática, un convertidor hidrocinético de par y una caja de cambio automática, caracterizada por el hecho de que comprende un mismo cárter que recibe el embrague en versión mecánica y el convertidor de par en versión automática, presentando dicho cárter dos caras frontales, que permiten unir con una de ellas el cárter del motor, y con la otra, en versión mecánica, directamente, una cara frontal correspondiente del cárter de la caja de.cambio mecánica, y en versión automática, una cara frontal correspondiente de un cárter intermedio soporte de cojinetes, intercalado entro el cárter del convertidor de par y el cárter de la caja de cambio automática.
