Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en toberas para altos hornos, esencialmente destinados a la fundición de zinc, la tobera adopta forma de un tubo con un orificio central, caracterizado porque la porción de boquilla de la tobera presenta una extensión acampanada inclinada hacia abajo (2) a partir de la pared superior del tubo, con lo que el gas que pasa a través de la boquilla de la tobera se desvía hacia abajo por dicha extensión, y porque la extensión tiene una abertura de salida (14) de mayor área que el área en sección transversal del orificio (1) del tubo.
