Abstract
Procedimiento de prerparación del 2-cetoglutarato de vincamina, según reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque la 12-bencil-1-carbometoxi-1-etil-1,2,3,4,6,7,12,12b- octahidro-indolo-(2,3-a) quinolicina se somete, sucesivamente, a reducción con aluminiohidruro de litio, halogenación con tribromuro de fósforo, acción del anión carbonilequivalente del dietilmercapto acetato de metilo, sucesiva hidrólisis e hidrogenolisis, dando una mezcla de vincamina y epivincamina y, esta mezcla tratada con hidróxido de benciltrimetilamonio, es cromatografiada sobre gel de sílice, dando vincamina como producto único.
